Wyndukes are a performing ukulele ensemble based in Williams Landing, Victoria.
We learn a repertoire of contemporary songs, “ukestrated” by Steph Payne with riffs and chord strumming patterns for ukuleles and if we have enough voices, 2-3 part vocal harmonies, rehearsed to bring them up to performance level.
- New players of ALL LEVELS are welcome. There is a part for everyone in this team.
- Baritone and Bass players welcome too.
- No casuals. This is a committed team of Wyndham and surrounding area locals.
- Rehearsal materials (printed chord charts, audio recordings) are provided.
Wyndukes has performed at local Wyndham events like Tarneit Twilight Market, Newkulele Festival, Red Arcade, Unstrung Music showcases, Melbourne Ukulele Festival, The Hills Ukulele Festival, Newport Singalongs, and NFFC theme nights.
- Rehearsals are Thursdays 7:15pm-8:45pm.
- Term 2 starts Thursday, 18 April, 2024
- In-person venue: Williams Landing, near Forsyth Rd. Address provided once enrolled (private residence)
- $160 per term.
